he didn't say it was the same thing. I have a front brake that i hardly ever touch as well.

point is, there is no good reason not to have one there. in certain situations it just is safer. personal choice/preference is a good enough reason on its own, don't argue for 'brakless' on the grounds of safety ffs.

exactly my point - when i say i haven't touched it in two months... i'm glad it was there when i did need t touch it*
I'm sure lots of brakeless riders do feel safe, but I dont.
