Another American one? why can't there be another one from other country? it'd a bit dull seeing the same old grid pattern of the road in American cities, London for instance would be a fantastic alternative just for the sheer abstract road pattern.
London need to get it's own version, much like the MASH one without too much of those silly trick thing.

^ i agree, a london equivalent to mash or whatever would be pretty entertaining.
no hipsters though.

Tynan could able to film it, he's pretty good at it as far as my little eyes can see.

yes, good idea

The Mash lots made their film to show the beauty of just riding with your mates around town, I'm pretty sure we did that a lots here in London.
-
• #13
yeah, but i still think its a nice idea for a LFGSS project type thing, like the poster or book.

trouble is, for a proper dvd that cost hipster price, it would probably take a year or two to get the best shot (for editing of course).
-
• #15
nothing wrong with that, if enough people want to do it and the dedication is there, it can be done.
-
• #16
let just hope that 50% of the shot isn't covered by crazyjames' mug!

I tried to get this together last year, but there wasn't really an excess of overwhelming enthusiasm (to say the least).
You bastards.
You racist bastards.
I think the British (myself included) are less comfortable with those big celebrations/expressions of life - where someone from the US might be happy to spend a couple of hours getting the perfect shot of them ploughing down Oxford Street, your typical native here will give you 2 minutes before they think this is all a little bit "show off" or not very cool - and cycle off! I have loads of footage of people cycling away from me (maybe this should tell me something)
:)

You could shoot it over a couple of months if you had the time and were organized.

i think its a great idea. i don't see why people wouldn't want to. the idea needs to be properly advertised.

tynan, will managed to get a handful of people to take portrait of, surely with a bit of elbow grease and religious chanting to the God Vishnu should make it work.
it's not just a question of organisation but a question of tracking the cyclists, while it's all nice and easy filming will's mug from a distance as if he's doing the tour de france at the turn of the century, following the cyclists is an entirely different technique (I think).
