  • Buy a hybrid, it will suit you better.

  • just watch out while track standing

  • Only turn whilst skidding- right foot forward for turning right, left forward for left.

No more problem, although you may go through tyres fairly rapidly.

  • Toe overlap is nearly never a real problem. When you are riding at speed you only ever actually turn your wheel very slightly. Its when you are fannying about doing trackstands that you end up hitting your foot. Changing to a 650 wheel is gonna do no favours to comfort and handling. Just try riding it as is, if overlap really is too much get a different fork or more suitable bike. I maybe able to help with the forks.

  • Bigger frames = less toeverlap I Think it's the relative size of the wheels/components to the frame geometry. I ride a 60 cm track, super tight clearances with noverlap, but my GF's is a 48 cm and it's some of the worst I've seen.

I already have the pompino. My issue with this bike is low speed weaving through traffic (and punctures on the tubs of course).

    this

  • toeverlap is just a reminder that you have a proper trackbike. you'll get used to it.

  • or a cannondale road bike

  • Or you are a short arse on pretty much any road bike.

take a moment or two to contemplate the difference between the top tube lengths of your respective bikes.

    Weave at high speed.......problem solved.

  • I guess the title says it all really.
I'm wondering which of the OTP SS/Fixed bicycles don't have toe-overlap with a standard 700c front wheel and Large toe clips.

  • you're going otp?

  • isn't 2008 was all about hipster?

I'm pretty sure all OTP (and some track-geo one) don't have toe overlap.

  • you're going otp?

yea whats going on harry ?

  • Harry! where ya been. otp is so not like you!?

  • i hear bianchi pistas have quite bad overlap.

  • the apocalypse beckons

  • I think it may be dependant on frame size. I can confirm that the 07 Fuji track (58cm) had no toe overlap.

with each pedal stroke, you'll lose one toe.

  • Have to go for a really big gear then and make sure all your journey are less than 10 turns.

  • with each pedal stroke, you'll lose one toe.

lolololololololol, I'm glad you spotted that i was trying to bait you!

  • hah!

  • the 60cm genesis flyer has absolutely no toe overlap whatsoever, but i have no idea about the smaller sizes.
