  • So in truth it probably is an issue of semantics then - working in the existing legislative framework provided by the Race Relations Act 1976 and the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000, discrimination on the grounds of race, which I would generally term as 'racism', is illegal.

    As a whole, 'racism' is wrong (from my moral perspective), but not illegal, but 'racism' in terms of defined behaviours or actions is illegal...
