Done a load of work on it myself and all seems ok, never had a problem apart from one time where the original bearing shattered but didn't cause a problem, just a lot of noise.
missus road it once and got her skirt caught in it. But otherwise no problems even locking rear wheel on steep hills, however would not ride here with it.
