We have a few projects going on at the moment. Check out www.riparatofixedgear.com and see what were up to! Trying to take photos of all the stages of conversion as a source of reference for others starting out. Hope you like it.

Finished my first fixed yesterday, here are some pics!
Hope you like... and I already know the bar angle isn't quite right...
Cranks and chainring are a place holder, they are williams cottered. I have a set of stronglight cottered TA cranks being re-chromed and a williams chainring to match. currently 44:19, soon to be 49:19, which is the same as 42:16...
Frame is a Freddy Grubb from 1957 from Teddy.
chrome bars and brake lever, weinnman callipers.
27" deep V rims and surley new hubs, thanks Moog.Everything else came from the local tip and bike jumbles...

I'm thinking similar, mostly the track end which is pointed upware, I'm thinking that doesn't make it easier to keep the chain tensioned.

bar angle seemed fine, it's more of a personal preference really, I seen quite a handful of Keirin racer riding it like that.

The early "Concorde" frames were made by the same company that made Ciocc frames, that's right!
The later frames can be from anywhere...The frame you pictured here: I doubt if that is a Concorde.
I think it should have Italian BB-set. Can you check that? What kind of marking is on the cups?
The lugs, fork crown, dropouts don't look like an (Italy made) Concorde.
I think of a resprayed frame, but no idea who made it.The first Concorde frames had lugs with a "C" and that bird (condor?) in it.
There were also (later?) Concorde frames with a heart shape cutout in the lugs (refer to De Rosa).Concorde is the label of a Dutch company named Rentmeester or Veltec.
To them, the origin of the frame is not the most important.
They also do/did a lot of respray.
Again, this could be anything.Really appreciate that mate, I kinda knew it couldn´t be a Concorde, at least not one of the original as I´ve been riding my mates one for the past week and this one can´t even be compared when it comes to finishing... Anyway it was good to be sure.

which kind (tears) are u referring to: joy, disappointment or pain?
(being that: pain=Bruce´s a shit welderdisappointment=Bruce´s no engineer and joy=He´s just a softy)

nice Grubb.
bar tape wrap direction fail tho.Ditto ... otherwise in a few weeks/months the bar tape will start look ragged and probably start falling apart near the brake lever.

I bought loads when they were cheap and to be honest the tyre itself is quite a good tyre, there is every chance they won't be on next week.
