a new thread with that question is nothing but annoying when there's a wealth of info to be had in already beaten out threads. I think that's what this thread is about, but I'm not sure any more.

that's the thing, though.. you make it sound like 'if you're not in to the pisstaking/etc, then you don't belong on the forum'. that's not right.

the reason this forum is so open is that Velocio allows people to post anything and everything they want, within ethical and moral acceptability.
It's a reflection of a 'real' community which exists, in equal amounts on and off of the internet.

What makes this forum different is if people in real life asked me the same questions again and again for which the answers already lies close at hand i.e UTFS, it would piss me off something rotten, and i would show it. This forum is no different.

Answering every noobs question at a whim, the forum would soon clog up with all sorts of inane questions, as it would perpetuate itself. Therfore doing what the form does best, telling people to UTFS is a good thing. Self regulating spamm bot. thats what it is. and it works just fine.

you're not getting asked by the same person though, are you? it's a bit like the evening standard seller on oxford circus who gets asked for directions 1000 times a day by tourists. he's not going to give a detailed route direction, or draw out a map, but he's also not going to tell them to buy a fucking A-Z or just ignore them, is he.
