Also, how the fuck did people who indulged in this Pot Belge not die? It's pretty much all of the most damaging drugs at once whilst undertaking strenuous exercise. There must have been secret parts along the route where instead of passing bottles of water to the riders, the support team would run out with a lit crack pipe to keep the spirits up.
