No, it's fine. We are all at a similar level but my shooting pisses me off at times and it's gonna be about goals at the end of the day. Better to know the team now than let it drag on until the week before.
I'll be cheering, don't worry about that!

Right... New mallets made.... Who's in for chorlton tomorrow?
-
• #2187
ffffaaaaarrrrkkkkkkk, your drill beats my drill! although mine is more rugged, mine's like a sebastian chebal to your jonny wilkinson, or a tyler durden to your meet joe black (& decker) ((ah thank you)...
seriously though i reckon it'd be a good idea for everyone to sort out their mallet preference and then make two solid versions of it for the euros.

Right then...........
The van for Cambridge is a transit so we can get all the bikes in. The cost it's showing at present, and this is supposed to include everything is £130. Cambridge is 175 miles so to cover fuel for the van and chan's car it will probably work out at about £40 each if there are just the six of us.
Let me know what you think and I'll book this tonight or first thing tomorrow.
Also, google says 3h 15m so I guess with piss stops and the like we need to allow 4 hours.

Who did you get that price from...? which company was it...?

Hertz.
Salford van hire looks cheaper to start with (£85 + vat) but doesn't include full insurance which means if the van gets bashed or similar you lose your deposit.

did anyone come to a conclusion about what day you want the polo social during the mini fest to be? thursday night might be best??
-
• #2198
Sunday might be best, there'll be more daylight as we start at 3 (cos it'll be dark by 6.30 in Oct and we don't have anywhere properly floodlit) in the afternoon and more people will be off work hopefully....
-
• #2199
How many people can fit in? more we are more cheap it will be. Plus my girl friend will be there and i'ld like to take here... Unless somebody is against having chearleader;-)

The van seats 3 in the front but there will be room in the back. If four go in chan's car and it's just the seven of us then we are all sorted.
Wayne, you sure mate? If you wanna play just speak up
