Holy shit. That MKE team is one of the best teams in North America (two out of three of them).
Good job Geneva and Munich!
London: team practice on Tuesday!
Eric (kremin) was saying that most of the tourneys in the states are over 2 days, so the first day is just finding your feet, getting use to the court etc.. and if you lose a couple of games its no biggy. I don't think they where expecting Munich and Geneva to be at that level. And if you lose 2 games in your group then you're pretty much out unless you have a good goal difference.
IMO all the London teams played well, and there were some individuals who really stood out. But Apples the only complete team, the rest all hybrids and apples got the furthest in the tourney so i don't think you guys need to panic about the euros - just hammer the team nights from now until August!
I had an awesome w'end, and our team was a fitting tribute to the 'king of pop'. The throw ins on friday night and after the tourney fucking ruled and i got a chance to play with all the mke, munich, and paris guys which was great as we didn't get to play them in the actual tourney. All in all, good people, good polo.
@Yorgo - I have some of these for you ;)
@Em - cheers for putting me up on thursday night dude. Props to Sven and all the guys from Munich for such a well organised tourney and a huge thanks to my host Benni. And lets not forget "featureless Eddie" and his clean bike shop :D
