awesome ride to everyone who came along.. I enjoyed it thoroughly (even the bits I didn't really enjoy at the time).. Is it just me or does Hyde Park corner feel like a long long time ago?
Highlights: various smiles from people in support of us guys just out on bikes which made a difference from every other Claphamian and Balhamian shouting incomprehensible drunken bollocks, leaving the ride to find 500 yards down the road that things weren't as bad as they seemed and then rejoining, getting lost and being helped by a cabbie, being one of the chosen to hang around in South Park and hear werewolves whilst trying to find our way to Gatwick, whizzing past people using only a freewheel and some gravity, double trouble fried breakfast and a lovely train journey back with Damo and Guy!
My only gripe is that the sun rose whilst we were in the garage of Gatwick but that can't be blamed on anyone and it didn't majorly detract from anything.
Also, touch rugby was much harder after a 'warm up' ride to Brighton.
