I am omnipresent.
Do you ride a Pearson?

Oliver reminds me of a conversation I was a party to between some English and German friends. An Englishman was trying to work out the correct German translation for his living room, but kept getting stuck because the only thing he could think of was 'lebensraum'

I do. A fully mudgaurded Touche. Comfy 81" gear long distance loveliness. I also have an old track frame originally with Hugh Porter's Good name on it(repsrayed now) bet its hard to guess how i came up with the name.

Is the Pearson white?

I do believe i am committing a fixie crime also by owning a Langster which i shall try to justify by quoting the price i paid (£40).
-
• #1807
I owned a Langster and Mal has one here now. If you get any shit from anyone then let me know and we can take turns throwing their overpriced NJS piece of shite under passing cars..

No its blue. If I could figure out how to put pics on my profile you could have a look, the pearson is not my favourite to look at but is my favourite to ride.

Ah, ok.. I'm still trying to find "Pearson Guy".. I think he's the only person to actually provide a proper challenge to me in the fUxbridge rd commuter wars.. :)

Good luck with finding your friend/adversary.
And also ta for the Langster encouragement, i just love throwing things under cars. -

Use it wisely.

Well I'm in! I consider myself in nappies for a couple of days, suitably etched with the tatoo of an oily chainring though

Hi all, I am new here and like others looking for your generous advice as I hunt a single speed bike.
I have always used geared racers but am keen for a change! I have used the search engines to look at the Subway Zero which looks quite decent for a low price but I do not think anyone has actually bought one.
Does anyone own one or have any reports from anyone that has? Thanks

Ask in the OTP thread, should get some advice and other bikes to consider. good luck and welcome.

Thanks Hippy. The first time i ever looked at fixed gear related stuff on the net i believe i saw your pic and my mate was standing in the background at last years Dunwich dynamo. What a small world.
