When you go and see the bike, have a look closely for 'defects' to reduce the price more...
Rust spots, old tyres, worn brake pads, little things like that.
It's just like buying a car, everything that is not 100% perfect as new is a point for negotiation. dirty saddle, scratched pedals, wobbly wheels... etc.
