http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard/article-23708515-details/Revealed%3A+The+greenest+bike+ever+made/article.doYeah, changed my mind though, can't be arsed. Raw materials are about £300 only, plus about 100 hours of time.
Journalism fail though. The frame is only(!) £1625, not £2175, and obviously you can get a decent gruppo for like £400, so it's more like £2000. Still, I can't afford to buy one of these in any case. Here is the newest model, looks much more bling than that piece of shit.

Still looks a bit shit though IMO

beach wise- im strictly a canford cliffs man--too far off bournemouth, no need for sandbankers to go there-therefore quiet -

Had fun on the way home, tonight I had a bunch of chavs in renault clio behind me giving me shit.
After calling them a bunch of wankers .... I had 4 chavvies get out of the car.... I prompted get off the bike and walk up to the biggest fat chavvy bastard, I square the fucker up (I had some beers give me the confidence) and tell him if he wants some he has got some ... this was probably not the best idea under a fly-over with not a soul about. Luckily for me a copper car cruises by and they promptly fuck off with me disapearing up a side alley.
Close Call..... WHAT A BUTCH OF CUNTS.
I was well up for some violence after that but I had a orange squash instead when I got home.
-
• #472
wow , after that didnt you feel like some dragons blood?
orange juice mixed with ribena, lovely.

I had calmed down by the end of Ashley road... and enjoyed the run down Dorchester Road back to home.
Taking my bike down BJs to get the bottom bracket shell cut deeper and I should have the pug ready to go shortly.
Need to find myself some brakes pads that work with those old mafacs and I am sorted.

Bjs and Bournemouth Mountain bike centre are good shops.
