Well done melon, a tough but ultimately right thing to do. my missus has plenty of her own things that I don't get but will take an interest in if she wants to discuss them and vice versa. Whereas my last girlfriend thought my hobbies were juvenile and pointless but hers were obviously more important and of more use to humanity. Not gloating, just reiterating your point, they are out there, these understanding types.
