I have my forum name on my spoke cards as a quick way of identifying me. And a nice way of adding personality to my bike. I didn't realise they were the bike equivalent to scout badges.
Uh-oh... are stitch on patches just scout badges? The scouts will be outraged... outraged I tell you!

He's not sacred, he married a prostitute.

With Bear Grylls recently appointed as Chief Scout vengeance could be messy.

I gonna start saying nobby things to random blokes on fixies then come on here and see if any of them start threads about it.

Yes, this thread isn't a patch on some of the other ones. Its cards are marked.

Someone used spoke referring to speaking and not the spoke card type spoke, I think that's the closest we've got so far.

Prostitute?...For gods sake...it's just another example of the mainstream taking something sacred and diluting it...she was fucking complete strangers way before everyone else....then everyone saw how you could get your name in a world famous book which would be read by millions and started doing the same and calling themselves prostitutes...which as we all know is hebrew for Donkey Messenger!
I give up!!!

ftw
You couldn't buy these when I was wee. Kids jammed empty Jubilee cartons under their back wheel for a motorbike noise. Jubilees were brightly-coloured, iced drinks, btw. Just like a no-frills ice lolly, only in a corrugated plastic cup. Children today are spoiled by technology. :-)
You can get back to arguing about spokecards now...

Can I get that on a spoke card? I've almost got a disc wheel and just need one more spoke card to complete it.

I think some of the people on this thread are being a bit velodramatic about all this spoke card business.

Mine are an even mix of alleycats and long rides. Frankly the long ride ones are much harder to earn than poncing about London for a couple of hours in heavy traffic.

couldn't you make a 'being not scott not scot' spokecard? Then we could all have one.
replaces spoke cards with oyster/amex/telephone cards
