    I actually enjoyed it.

    lindex is about the only thing I now recall.

    Well, that and the fact that if someone added a new layer near the top of the include stack, that every file below that escaped a string would have to be double escaped.

    It wasn't unusual to see a file with a string escaped by 32 \'s.

    And of course, that file was then only useful is included at the correct level so that the number of evals was the right amount to counter all of the slashes.

    Absolutely nuts. A 2m line code base written in TCL/TK... well, purely TCL really. Was fun though, you got used to the quirks.
