If you do fix your suspension forks I may be interested in those rigid ones, if they're the older, shorter version.
I doubt i'll use the suspension forks tbh...i'm a big fan of fully rigid mtb's :)

So I finally got this built exactly as I wanted it.
(including frake- for parents approval!)
irony is I'm gonna have to sell it now to fund buying parts for GH2 and GH1.

Wait until the rims get wet, she will be wishing you put that front brake on.
She's had the bike for months and rain cycling has not been an issue.
I've only got one front brake on my fixie and despite rain i normally don't need to skid to brake but i do see everyone's points as if her brake would snap she can't skid or anything. Two brakes would definitely be the safer option. -

Ok, so i only just read all this malarky about Ed's missus' bike being "outrageously identical" to the one my brother (IRLeo) built for his girlfriend, but i was under the impression that Ed already used some ideas from my Raleigh. I don't mind, or even care. Just seems funny to bring up a point that someone may have attempted to copy or replicate your ideas, or that your ideas were significantly original. This is all very amusing though, and i'm not having any sort of a dig. But i know which 2 of these look more alike...!

Hi, I’m Nico from France and follow occasionally this thread. Honestly I was really inspired by that great bike during his process to launch my own project…More pics on www.ateliersembellie.com
