Nick Griffin egged in Parliament Square

However Ross going on about Anti-BNP protests etc not achieving anything .. the idea I am pretty sure is to try to convince people not to vote for BNP candidates. They may not achieve anythng, but the idea is that they are and obviously someone thought it might work ..

And I think Ross was making the point that he thought it was unlikely to work. I agree with him in that respect.

If any sane person thought that throwing eggs at politicians might convince people not to vote for them Parliament square would be knee deep in egg shell.

It isn't, the idea is misguided.
