Its going for £420!!! even with a hefty dent in the toptube, seems a bit mad, having said that, it is a beautiful frame.

Yep. I was very lucky and very quick! Now I'm very happy!

Yesterday the same bike, with slighlty different components finished at £430! but did not sell because it had not reached its reserve.... one of the best bargains ever.

It was up for that long? Blimey! I'm the process of rebuilding my Vitus 979 from the same era which I bought about twenty years ago but always wanted the vitus carbon fibre Peugeot ala Robert Miller.

sorry i dont have any pics.. and yes it is ever so slightly bent.. just a cosmetic thing really, i dont think its bent enough to cause structural faults.

i can buy this for not much money, i dont know too much about raleigh bikes, is it worth buying?

It's a soughtafter design that's for sure. How much is it going for? Looks like a nice, tidy, well looked after bike to me.
