(ED: Just noticed the tyre logos dont line up with the valves. The bikes a pile of pengy shite!)
Unless they're opposite to the valves, and then it's thinking-outside-the-box porn?

Mike Curiaks custom Moots snow bike. I love the fact that the snow camo is actually made from lots of moots logos. Mike is a fookin legend!
Might as well mount an engine in it.Rather ride a BMX in the snow than waste energy on that thing. -

can anyone (Scott?) explain me why the gears in the front wheel??

That bike weighs far less than you think.
Have you ever ridden in deep snow? over 300+ miles? Cos that's what the owner does on it...it's designed for a specific thing and wastes a hell of a lot less energy than your bmx would.
If you haven't got the knowledge, why not keep quiet and not make such a fool of yourself eh? -

having the same front and back wheels means that the parts are all interchangeable and you can use either one at the back if something goes wrong.
I think. -

Interchangable wheels...for epic rides and races like Iditabike...means if the rear cassette fucks up you can swap wheels over and have less chance of being stranded.
There ya go rik :)

^that's kinda what I said although can't you also have one with a cassette and one with a single freewheel or even fixed sprocket? just to mix it up
Looks heavy cos of the tyres, which are mostly air, which isn't that heavy.

Yeah some do...mine had two different sized freewheels on it...some have a cassette on one and fixed on the other so if the freehub grease freezes solid they can keep riding.
The tyres themselves weigh less than downhill tyres and the rims do too...they can run right down to 5psi to allow the bike to ride on snow without sinking...same principle as snow shoes really.

^ :D!
I'm with Scott, it's clearly designed for like, tundra or some shit. Not just snow on the road. I'm all for extreme diversity, it makes bikes look like they can conquer anything. Which I'm sure they can.

They're also great fun on regular MTB trails too...i used mine for my normal mountain biking in scotland...so much fun...and no harder work than anything else most of the time.

ANTI!! That bike is seriously anti porn. The cassette on the front is just gimmicky imo. And those rims :o!!
