I'm loving my regime at the minute. Did a 10 week camp for a big fitness test last weekend (I smashed it to pieces) and took last week off as a 'treat' and a well needed recovery session.
Had my first beer since April 4th, had my first chinese since the same date, lived like a slob all week doing nothing regards exercise; I go for a 3 mile ease-back-into-it run this morning and breezed through it. So chuffed, I thought I was going to be in pieces!
Waiting on some dates for another test which should be in about 12 weeks time but I'm thinking of an 8 week camp this time around. By week 8 of Camp 1 I felt as if I was peaking and the last two felt as if I was overtraining, so an 8 weeker it is.
Running in a sweatsuit worked a treat also, kept me on weight and made runs without it a lot faster. I've also been experimenting with YouTube - Wanderlei Silva All Access Snorkel Training
this time around, anyone else into it? Felt awkard to begin with but I'm loving throwing it into my conditiong sessions; makes it so much harder but so much more rewarding.
