Thank fuck for that. I would have been upset if we had got rid of Alonso to buy Barry. Alsonso was absolute class this season. Would have been a backwards step in my opinion. We should spend our entire transfer budget on getting the best left full back there is. Since Riise went off the boil and was subsequently sold, it is an area we have been left wanting.
Our midfield works, our strikers work. Lets not fuck about now. Although obviously, Tim Cahill would be a great addition to our squad
