I got Shimano A530 or A630 (I can't read clearly on the pedal). They're pretty good. For a newbie to clips, they give me the option of unclipping early and pedallig on flats up to the lights, or some other dismount.
I rode them tonight on just flat pedals, when going for a pootle with Princess Pashley. It's the first time I've ridden on the flats in a couple of weeks and they were fine. For proper spee-work, I'd want cleated shoes. For an amble to get dinner and amble back, they were great.
