  • Carhartt outlet store London Fields, £15.00 - £35.00 jeans FTW.
    Beats Nudie any day

i need to go there for some shorts!! See any there?

  • Loads when I was there last 3 weeks ago. I'll have to drop in again this week. Let me know how you get on if you get there before I do.

  • I bought a pair of Levis Twisted jeans from ebay, they don't fit me which is annoying. If anyone is intersted yours for a tenner. 30x32.

  • go to a charity shop in tamworth and try find some eclipse or spliffy jeans

  • I ride in either some cut off G Star Elwoods or recently discovered some slim/skinny True Religion jeans are really comfy, because the denim is soft and stretchy. Roll up both legs and Bob's your aunt

  • Uni qlo.

  • arnt True Religion like £300 bucks or something?! i can get a new bike for that!

  • im not sure if this is has already mentioned, but i have a great pair of MHI jeans which are regular fit which taper to the bottom. without tucking it into the sock, it still doesnt fuck with the chain.
and i know MHI are in "administration" but im sure they'll re open or otherwise ebay is a gold mine for this kinda stuff.

  • problem solved, element union pants, 93% cotton 7% polyester stretch, nice dark blue - i am built like a rugby player, so a jean that is semi slim fit and not too baggy yet not to tight is a rarity - the stretch is a winner, and the fit at the bottom ain't gonna catch a chain - bosch

  • diesel is a shite brand for sucker students but their denim is great.

  • I love my cheap shit HM ones or great Carhartt ones.

Edit: I necro'd an old thread. Heaven forbid.

  • Any kind of twisted or "engineered" without a seam right in the middle of my crotch (apart from Levi's, found Outrage and Duck&Cover ones). And cut them off. I can't wear skinny jeans, because I'm not skinny, so they don't look skinny.

  • Does anybody know where to get some decent fitted jeans which are NOT hipsters?

All this low-rise shit if fucking irritating. The ones from topshop have great fabric with a much welcome bit of stretch. But why the hell are they all low-cut? If your gonna have the inconvenience of having your arse showing you at least want some room for your balls right?

  • Levi 511 Slim Fits. Best jeans in terms of slim compromise, but not spray-on tight.
I blew out the crotch on a pair last week though getting on my bike, definitely a well ventilated ride home, but they were only £20 from TK Maxxxxx

honestly i was thinking "what a dumb thread", and then i thought, "oh well Levi 511 slims are really good." I guess I'll reply, Click on the thread and what do i see?

something about their cut is perfect for cycling. High enough waist, easy on the jewels, don't bunch around the knees and they keep well out of the way of your drive train. it's true. they're really good.

  • APC standard jeans are great, slim without being too skinny. And the denim is like rhino skin, I bought mine last Feb have worn them almost daily and there isn't even a trace of a hole around the crotch.

  • Got a few pairs of swrve and they fade on the ass real quick, now rolling in Altamont Wilshire fit, they have stretch and don't fade as quick... And cheaper... Win all round...

  • uniqlo selvedge are treating me alright, some of the best value denim out there too.

I always wondered if the Self Edge x Iron Heart jeans were any good, a pair came up cheap once but not in my size :(

  • The Carhartt store in London Fields is great, just picked up 3 pairs of jeans last week for the princely sum of £60.00.

  • Currently rocking some SWRVE skinnies that I think are still on sale from the mozz site - a little tighter than my normal TopShop skinnies but twice as comfy for riding and I get the feeling I won't tear the crotch out of them within 2 months.

Nice and stretchy, although they did stink of rubber when I got them...

    Reccomended though

  • Ive become an assos bib short wearer for most of my riding these days, but my cheap skinny jeans from zara have always held up well. i had a pair from topshop recently that were utter wank, after about 3 weeks and maybe about 6-7 rides the arse went white and fluffy, which wasn't a good look on black jeans.

i haven't tried any of the other swrve products, but i have a pair of their casual bike shorts. they absolutely sucked. bad cut for riding, cheap material, arse went thin and worn and they were hot. i don't get a how a company based around cycling can design something so ill fitted for its purpose. after that i have no confidence in the rest of their products.

  • Ive always loved Howies jeans and theyve got some Epic cotton ones in theyre new autumn range: http://www.howies.co.uk/product.php/2058/12/

Will get some at weekend and let yall know

  • Uniqlo jeans when they're on offer, with the crotch cut out and replaced to get rid of the seam. Requires some skill with a sewing machine (or a mom wot does).

  • sewed up my jeans last weekend. holding up ok, but i dont think they'll last long..

    Nice gusset weld!
