three weeks and about £250 later, mixture of new and old parts, the Edison is built, bit of a mix of colours, I have an obsession with orange but I think it looks alright and not bad for a first go, say hi if you see me on it:

This was in Jazz cycles the other day when I went in, nice paint on the frame. Going there today to see if they have FINALLY removed the BB from my Raleigh.
