Just gotta check the diary but have got to get some miles i before the DD.

  • it will be a good day

  • I am tempted by this. Been meaning to ride to Cambridge and this might be the excuse I am looking for.

  • Good work Mr Blackfoot.

Back in time for the nocturne!

To the Cambridge people: Has anyone got a large yard or garden nearby that could play parking spot to thirty bikes so we can relax and not worry about the theives?
I live maybe a minutes walk from the fair and my garden is open to all who wish to leave there bike there.

  • Do we have a route so I can put it in the Garmin? If not there already I'll add it to mapmyride.com.

  • Gonna get a route off Lebowski...
    I think.
Or now Corny's back on board, maybe he has one already.

Be good to post it up though.

  • Provisionally in (geared) - if I can sort out the bars on the Rourke this week - need to get some miles in before Dunwich

  • I might take my favourite A10 route and race you guys.

  • I might take my favourite A10 route and race you guys.

You do realise that it's illegal to go at 88mph on an A-road, do you?

  • Can we have a time/place confirmation?

9AM at Hyde Park Marble Arch?

I am coming, and maybe one or two more people from Cambridge. I am happy to do any route (my coordination skills suck), so whoever volunteers to lead the pack, leads the pack.

Em i'm doing the same but on Friday afternoon for a full day of festival fun on the Saturday... ride with us!

hah, their is no point coming to the fest before 2ish anyway, people don't really turn up until after lunchtime.

  • eddie 9am start at hyde park corner sounds good...

I'd love to but there's no way I can get friday off work dude.
I'll call you when we get to Cambridge and we can ride home together though.

  • Here's the route that I've roughly been doing to London from Cambridge recently. It's pretty quiet for most of it but with more uphills on the return (London to Cambridge) journey I think.

This one on the map is pretty much the most direct and easiest route that I know of.

I'm pissed that I'm going to be away for this considering how many people and going to riding up to our fair city.

  • How far is it roughly and are people cycling back?

    It's about 60 miles yeah?
