Stripped the machine down and it works much better, but I can only get a weak gurgle out of the steamer. When you turn the steamer on, it makes a lot of noise and steam comes out of the showerhead, but not out of the steam wand.
I'm stumped - the showerhead and steamer are supplied by the one boiler, so there must be a blockage somewhere. I did have a go at unblocking the wand and the brass pipe that runs from the boiler, but it might be further up...
