modern drillium making a comeback ?

is that worse than putting risers on a bike designed for the track?
No, I believe at least they are keeping the racing pedigree of the bike alive. Putting risers on these bikes is like putting ape-hangers on a Ducati.

Kogas (the good ones) give me sex wee I wanted to buy the 60 cm orange and white frame in bike Magic, and someone else did before I could get the cash together. did anyone on here buy it? if so could I please have a look at it when you're finished the build?

Any frame can be dull/ugly in the wrong hands. BJs are bloody lovely, but the choice they give you colourwise might not help them, as people go for daft combos and silly finishes.

I've got that frame (Koga FPT) in 53cm as a time trial bike, haven't got around to taking any decent pix yet. There's a head on shot at http://www.londonfgss.com/post628505-7044.html but I've changed the stem, brake and complete drivetrain since then. You should have snapped it up when you could, because FPTs are expensive now, thanks to the weak pound. I bought mine in 2007 from Cyclesense for 500, and they're asking 899 now!

home-made disc and FIR front wheel sprayed white...looks pretty hideous
-
• #15312
Actually, it's a Rigida DP-18 supersonic front wheel...
-
• #15313
rigida dp-18 is the rim, fir (or Giant as they commonly rebrand them) are the spokes and hub.
Don't get me wrong, i totally understand why people like it, but just not my cup o' tea.
Looks too plastic to be fantastic... -

Fantastic it aint. Never have I had such a flexy front wheel. But i think it creates a bit of a wow-effect on the bike
