I love....my morning commute today

Stayed at in-laws small holding (was christ-heaven-speed-day? yesterday).

On the bike at 6:00am, blue sky, sun peaking over the mountains, 50km of quiet roads, with rolling hills, passing mirror still lakes, and a calm sea.

Too blissed out to work now though.

Doing the Route 66 from Chicago to LA this autumn, no time restraints, no plan, just rent a rig and hit the road.

Andy - check if they still do drive-aways. When lived in the US I used to do coast to coast car deliveries = no hire charge. Sort of like in The Hitcher.....

I love that my new road frame has geometry identical to that of my track frame - i.e. a high BB and short wheelbase.
They are by the same manufacturer so it's not entirely surprising, but it's great, cos my track frame is perfect for me.

I love the guy who stood and guarded the fresh pool of vomit in Bluewater earlier this evening so that nobody could walk through it and slip over. Also the offending vomitee who helped cordon it off with her father. Respect!

The street session I went out for yesterday, a broken seat, a couple of crashes, but one of the funnest days out i've had ever!

Oh and I love that what I thought was a major sprain is just some heavy bruising, non-sprained forearm/wrist FTW!

I love my new "The Wolverine Files" which I got when I decided to walk into a random bookshop and it had a £15 off RRP.

I love that BMW will hopefully be unveiling the bike i've been waiting a long time for at interbike...if they get the prototype done in time :)
