Reader's BLB Wives!
I suspect this is reader's wives?
unless he's the offender otherwise known as James Craig from Yorkshire, I doubt it.

Readers Wives. It's frowned upon (by some people) to post your own bikes in this thread.
-

i know that my post was a failure regarding don't post you own bike as a bike porn bike, but i've saw that soulless gold-bike and thought that i've to show a better way. sorry. back to bike porn:

Bob Jacksons are supposed to be boring aren't they? for decades they have been the reserve of middle-aged bicycles enthusiasts and mudguarded nerds. it's bizarre that everyone suddenly has a hard-on over a bit of lugged steel.
+1 Until I discovered this site, it was only 20+ year members of CTC I ever saw on them

You post your own bike in bike porn, that's classified as Reader's Wives.
bike porn would be something like this, a bike that's beautifully put together with component that go well with it/as well as technical porn and rat porn* (all the bike here come from this topic);
beautiful bike;
technical porn;
lastly, rat porn;
Your bicycle not only Reader's Wives, but a mere BJ with decent but nothing-special-about-it component.
*rat porn referred to a bike that look worse for wear yet still look gorgeous, very subjective thought.

I'm happy to hear this as I'm thinking of a BJ as my next build.
As I'm 37 I easily class as middle-aged so at least I'm rocking the demographic! -

don't get me wrong Mr. Pelago, i too will be lining their pockets in the coming weeks! mudguards and all.
-
• #15244
every time i see a bob jackson posted in the porn thread it's like being visually assaulted by the vacuous smile of paris hilton or another picture of some other talentless celebrity bimbo flashing her gusset getting out of a cab.

apparenty I must to spread some 'comment' before giving it to MrSmith again for his respond, can anyone do it for me?

Am currently checking out the S&S couplings. Genius.
And means I don't need to go and buy a Dahon or Brompton and still be able to take it on the train :) -
• #15247
I'm loving the idea of the S&S couplings, but thinking it's best to have another bike for that, bike theft would love the idea of S&S couplings!
-
• #15248
I think it would work great. I could lock one half of the bike up in one street, and the other half in another ;)
-
• #15249
Hah! that's the thing, you can lock the rear end of the bike, but how are you able to lock the front end? there's no triangle to lock it.

Either way, it's horrible! A mish mash of parts that don't match. Pass me a bucket.
