fuck oven cleaner. that only has a portion of the chemical needed in it, along with a load of other superfluous shite. what you need is kleen-off caustic soda is crystal form. add water and go. make sure to wear goggles (seriously) and try not to breathe in all the rancid fumes that'll be released when you dunk your parts in it (ooh-err). oh and don't be alarmed when it turns your stem black, this comes off easily.
