I think it was either a BBC interview - or an Oakley promo, where Pendleton said that she often gets frustrated with spending so much time in unflattering race gear - that she jumps at the chance of dressing up and being a "girly girl" (?) to make herself feel human....
I think shes a phenomenal athlete. Good luck to her....
