  • Yeah yeah! Real good night on Tuesday. It's gonna get busy this summer. We may even run out of room!

  • Hey guys, Hope u don’t mind if I tag along tomorrow night.

I’ve been doing a uni project “Design laboratory” and started off looking at sports drinks, and drugs used in the Olympics and how science is generating faster and faster WR’s. To cut a long story short my project has ended up visually looking at fixed gear’s and free-range/ organic food / drink. (The purest form of bike) and (healthy & natural food / drink)

Id be bringing my camera along to take some snaps.

Its also a bit of research for me, I ride 16 miles a day (not that much I know) to and from uni on my Scott CR1, but have been gradually moving towards getting a hot fix-gear bike with some hed3 tri spoke wheels. (well that’s at least what I’m dribbling over at the moment!) I got a 650c frame in the shed waiting for term to finish to be converted to fix-gear. (yes I’m a short ass!! )

Anyways guy’s it would be really appreciated if I could grab some snaps Tuesday night, Let me know if its ok with everyone.

I'm sure it'll be fine as long as you bring beer and weed.

What he said ^ both essential indgredients for any fixter trixster to perform.

  • Will see y'all later on ma new ride ;)

  • Just a reminder to you guys, Street Fest this sunday.

I'm trying to get a Flat bank built in the FGLDN area, similar to one we rode on our eurotrip (covered in Fixed 3). Will confirm.

Anyway come down and party. Action, art, music and lots of alcohol!

Since its Bank Holiday the next day, there is an after party at Juno, or might go for a late night tricks ride, Southbank, Barbican and the City or Mile End Skate Park? Let me know.

    See you there!

    Odge

  • Well up for this!

  • That sounds awesome Odge. just what exactly were you doing up at 6am?!

  • Was just going through some of my pictures and realised I think I inadvertedly took a pictore of the old carpark before my fixed gear days:

    Correct me if I'm wrong?

Btw, hopefully I'll see you guys sometime between the 19th and 27th of June!

  • Ok a bit last minute. Flat Bank is shit. No real riding area. And the paying public are not allowed to bring in their bikes and ride due to insurance policies. But hey come down anyway and we'll go for that evening tricks ride. I'm thinking of going victoria park then along the canal to mile end skatepark.

    Peace Odge

  • There is good riding space out on Clifton Street in front of the venue. Pavement gap and wheelie blocks. Looks like a good event nevertheless. Live art, music and fashion shows. And a BBQ.

  • Hello, I am new to this trick thing, and I am thinking of popping round tonight (weather permitting). I am interested in learning how to do some of those spin skills, and of course wheelies. Any guidance would be appreciated. See ya tonight, oh I will bring my admission fee of beer & weed.

  • don't worry about the weather, just go down a floor if it's raining (which it almost definitely will be).

  • aah seriously, that's a NICE pic - where's it from?

  • For those that are interested in what us trix riders get up to at the weekend......

  • BikeDestroyer, I popped by to give you your sponsorship money, hung around for half an hour, learnt to trackstand - thanks everybody - but had to dash off to take the wife to dinner.

    Will try to rearrange.

  • what a lovely evening that was!

next week I hope to have a new bicycle rack / boom box carrier made for the rooftop.

nice to meet a few new faces!

  • so I might have sorted that boom box issue:

  • sweet!

  • Frickin awesome

  • For those who are up for it, we may be having a little street sesh mid/post TrixieDix, not sure where we're going yet, but so far me/Phil/Marco/Ric are gonna be out, probably end up local around bishopsgate, or we might head to southbank/London Bridge.

  • so I might have sorted that boom box issue:

theres a bloke in cambridge that rides around with a streo in a carrierbag hanging off his handlebars with heavy metal blaring out! il try and get a photo next time im home!
