No ones beaten Boardmans aero style record but I'm not sure if anyones tried, it doesn't really seem to be fasionable. It might come back though as its good publicity for bike companies. Theres another hour record which lets pretty much anything, so its mainly recumbrants, this is always getting broken by people from the states and Germany.
Lance was meant to go for both of them after his retired but it never came about
