Yeah, but you're not allowed to ride the "Athlete's Hour" with carbon bling, you HAVE to ride a "normal" Merckx's record-style bike. The performance hour allows aero bits and bobs but people don't seem to bother with that since it's not the 'true' hour record - not even sure you CAN ride it? Boardman might keep it forever :)

sosenka rode a carbon-tubed bike. rules only say you have to have round-tubes. obviously he wasn't acting in the 'spirit' of the rules but that's not really fashionable these days - just ask an MP.

sosenka also tested positive for crystal meth, so it's fair to say that he didn't make all the best choices in life...
