The ad for the Mercian track bike is gone.
The owner either sold it (to Hilary?) or is aware of the theft ...Hmm, thought that Mercian looked familiar.

I have contacted the original owner and he confirmed he still has that bike. So the sale was not genuine...

Not everything from France is bad.
Don't mix up with French (incompatible with BC and Italian) BB thread. This is one of the few BB-sets that has an adjustable chain line (so, ideal for SS, track and other fixies).
When your BB thread is damaged, this is one of the last affordable solutions.
This BB-set is clamped into the BB-shell by 2 conical locknuts. Not screwed into the BB threads.
The only disadvantage is, that you need a chamfering tool foor the BB-shell, first.![](http://i.ebayimg.com/21/!BSNGHN!!Wk~$(KGrHgoH-DMEjlLltmFiBKCCP+KqI!~~_2.JPG)

More photos have been added. I'm def tempted with this one. Can't find anything out about 80mm front hubs though, and yes Andy I have googled them. Would they be alright on the road?
