when i saw the look frame bare i thought it weas pure porn, nicest modern track frame ive ever seen. built up however, i really dont like it. nothing about it pleases me aesthetically, the whole thing is unbalance and uncomfortable looking. im sure it rides really nice.
i think the cervelo above with mavic wheels and a rear disk is my new modern track lust.

Another 396 not quite making the grade. Not sure if Look just got the geometry wrong or they get set up weird when they escape the pro ranks and get ridden by amateurs.

that photo look much better, I did find the fluted seat stay a bit weird as it look like it designed for wheel bigger than even a 27", netherless I love that bike purely because it's a fresh design from those usual carbon/alu jobbies.

fucking hell, that chain look scary!
couldn't he just take hundreds of photo of his new bike instead?? I love the fact he have to spin his wheel and squeeze the brake levers to show us how real it is.

Bloody hell, slack chain comments are normally pretty anal but the chain in that video is looser than a whores g string. His displays of braking power are pretty comical too but +1 for effort and enthusiasm.

http://www.bikecult.com/works/archive/05bicycles/lookKG396R.htmlto the normally vintage machine loving untrained to modern componentry eye it just looks like the difference is chain length, saddle, pedals and colour saturation of the photograph. of modern bikes this and teddy's condor are two i think i could embrace with a smile.
sorry if i missed something

http://www.bikecult.com/works/archive/05bicycles/lookKG396R.htmlNote to LOOK - apparently you got the geometry all wrong on the 396, this bloke the forum says so. I suggest you immediately do a product recall.

Different cranks and wheels too, but my issue is not with the components but the position. Both are running the bars both high and short, suggesting riders who can't get their bodies into the position these bikes were originally designed for. It's a characteristic of pro bikes generally that the bars are lower and further forward than recreational riders can cope with, thanks to thousands of hours in sadlle conferring the required flexibility. To be porn, a bike not only has to have the right bits attached to the right frame, it has to be set up in an aesthetically pleasing shape too.

Love that frame, want (in a different colour).
