• That FAQ page is a bit of a mess - it needs sorting out.

You can pick up an old pair of drop bars from someone on here for dirt cheep no doubt. Make sure they have bartape or grips of some sort as well as bar-end plugs.

I was looking at the velodrome site and it mentions not being able to ride bikes with either brakes or non-drop bars.

Is this the case for induction sessions and more importantly for the track day on Sunday?

    From http://www.hernehillvelodrome.com/faq

"However, if you ride your bike on the road normally, you will be
required to remove any brakes as they are not allowed on track. Drop
handlebars are also required as opposed to any cow-horn style bars that
some people use on road-going fixed wheel bikes."

I was planning on riding my bike which has both a front brake and riser bars. Getting the brake off shouldn't be too hard but I only have the one set of bars...

Has this been a problem for anyone?

Sorry if this has already come up and I missed it
