My issue with this is not what you are charging, it is your lack of community spirit.
I gave you a good deal, you should pass that good deal on in a similar way.
I could have got much more for them too, but in the spirit of the community I gave someone (who, as it turns out is somewhat ungrateful) a good deal and you are simply trying to make as much money as you can.
Also, they are now much more used. When you bought them from me they had been used for a couple of hours on an indoor track. You used them for 3 months through the winter and spring to commute and want back more money than you paid!
Im sorry but i dont agree with what you are saying.
You sold them to me for £180 and asked for more just before i came to pick them up, which i rejected. I had no intention of selling these wheels when i bought them and therefore fitted a cog and lockring (which took me 3 weeks to get, for various reasons).
Times change and i have more recently picked up a bianchi pista, which i use daily for commuting. I have another track bike on the way, which has a good set of track/training wheels, therefore this wheelset has become redundant.
Calling me ungrateful is a little unfair. You dont know me personally and im deffinately not this kind of person. I have looked after these well and have put very limited milage on the wheelset and not abused them in anyway. If something is sold at a good/cheap (if you must) price and taken care of well and then sold on, there is no reason why it should be priced down.
If its so much of a problem i will happily keep the wheelset. But i feel someone could get a lot of good use out of a frankly excellent wheelset, instead of them sitting in my garage collecting dust for the next however many months/years.
I really dont know why i am justifying myself still, its obvious people buy things on forums and sell them on at a higher value reguarly. I very rarely do this, but fair enough you have picked up on this and are pissed off.
IMO theres no point selling them for less then £200, as i couldnt go out and buy a wheelset half as good and might aswell keep them for a future build
