Except that the revenue derived from vehicle excise duty on motorised vehicles only accounts for roughly two thirds of the cost of maintaining and upgrading the road network, including motorways where bicycles don't go. The rest of the cost is subsidised from other tax revenue so technically it's the motorised vehicles that are freeloading on the rest of us. By your logic, you actually owe us money. Still, to avoid potential taxable income, mines a pint, and some popcorn.
