eeek... I wouldn't want to clamp any of my bikes into the stand on the tubing. Surely it'd be better to clamp on the seat post? Most manufacturers recommend this don't they? Nice looking project btw.

na - it's ok - pretty soft plastic - don't do it up too tight- seems fine- if i really need to do it up tight - i do go for the seatpost of course.
Dylan - how's the missus on the Raleigh?? hopefully safe steady, and no where near as scary to watch as my missus on her bike...
