  • good advice: http://absenter.org/2006/12/18/ordering-a-bob-jackson

*I’ve had the frame for nearly a year with no issues. It’s been my favourite bike I’ve owned to date. Since the Vigorelli is a grass track frame, the bottom bracket is higher than even standard track frames for extra clearance and so you may find the standover height a little taller than you’re used to. To me, I find this to be perfect since I ride the bike primarily for comfort, training and long distance and therefore a frame as such is so very comfortable. *

*While the standover might dissuade you from ordering your size, don’t let it. Order the size you are and revel in the joy that is to me, the best fit frame I’ve had yet.*

That is a fantastic looking bike, the main reason I started to look for a Bob Jackson. I love the curve on those forks.

Still, I continue to bitch about the SO. As the owner of the said Vigorelli, who is so keen on giving advice, is still showing more than his cock's worth of seatpost (I've about the same amount visible, though my penis is far, far bigger and meatier), I dare say that as he reminds people that his frame is *now *the perfect fit -- even though "you may find the standover height a little taller than you’re used to" -- his previous frame has been way too small for him.

If I go the BJ Vigorelli way, I will lose 2.5" inches of cock. Which, I take, means that the top tube is 2.5" higher than on my old bike. My inner leg length is 34" and the standover height of a 23" Vigorelli is about 33.5". I fear for my testes. This is the reason I believe I have to find someone with a frame close to those specs to try out.

But they are so beautiful, those Vigorellis. Sigh
