  • Talk to Paul at BJ. How big is 23" in metric?

I told the factory I get on well with 54cm traditional geometry bikes and I was recommended a 21.5".

I find the top tube is about 1cm longer than I'd have gone for if I'd had it custom built, otherwise perfect. I'm running an 80mm stem to sort that out and it's great. They ride very smoothly, and although it doesn't steer as quickly as my Fuji, it's well suited to all day riding.

    23" is 58.5 in centimeters.

Do BJ measure the seat tube c-c or c-t? I'd like to know the SO, too. Like I said, I believe Paul knows his stuff, but I'd sure like to see the geo at least on paper before making the decision of buying.

For example, you told him you do fine on a 54 (21.25") and he suggested 21.5". I told him I ride a 56 (22") and he said my size would be 23". There's a difference, there.
