  • Now lets look at the quantity of orange and intense frames out there compared to race links....and more to the point the number of broken ones.
    A perfect example is Mark Weightman...he broke at least 15 frames before he got his brooklyn...including several intense frames...he then proceeded to win the european downhill championships on his 57lb TMX ahead of ALL the oranges and intenses.
    How many world cup/championships have ever been won by a non sponsored rider?...and brooklyn can't afford to sponsor.
    Lighter isn't better if they break more often...and a lot of privateers can't afford to replace them often...i know Mark sure got sick of it.

    My M1 is now a decade old. It creaks like a cunt but it's done that since new. I'd be surprised if I was able to break it, having said that, it would surprise me to break any bike. I float over trails like my tyres are full of helium ; )
