I thought they were supposed to be strong as fuck ?
As Track bikes go they're one of the strongest out there....They're also a 3 year old design, and 3yrs ago people weren't riding the way they do now....people are dishing out constant abuse now, and if you look, you'll see Brooklyn forks on quite a few 'tricks' riders bikes.....that doesn't mean they're indestructable though.
They were designed as a regular track bike fork for street and track use.
Joe's history is in making some of the strongest bikes and components on the planet...you only need to see how many of the original TMX's, shinburgers, snot rockets, etc are still being ridden today after some 10yrs of downhill racing to see how strong their stuff is...if he wanted to make a Gangsta fork that could handle the kind of abuse that todays tricks riders are dishing out it wouldn't be too hard.
