Which shops stock Sidis, anywhere near Chelsea or Brockley?
-

Hello folks,
You can get Sidi's from Brixton Cycles and Condor to mention but a few which are both not that far from either Chelsea or Brockley.
Not sure what you are after but I can recommend the Dragon SR2's. They have mtb cleats in which are great if you want to walk anywhere and you can replace the soles so you get a longer lasting shoe.
They are pricey but you get what you pay for.
Happy shopping,

SBR (or is it SPR? ) on fullham road have some Dominators the last time i looked.

dominator soles last longer than the eagles/dragons. i know those two are replaceable but very expensive and don't last long at all.

Anyone here tried the Dominator Mega? How much wider are they?

Just been reading through this whole thread and the posts about cyclefit are really inspiring. Just been spending some time looking through their site.

I just bought some dominator megas, the regular ones squashed up my toes ever so slightly and that was first thing in the morning so I reckoned they would become uncomfortably tight after a long ride and I'm told they will not really stretch being synthetic leather. The megas are significantly wider. I would say it's like they're a full size bigger in width only. In thin socks they may be a touch too wide for me but a slightly thicker insole would sort that.
Did I mention they are awesome!

Sidi pinching? I am led to beleve that these shoes are the best. I have got some £60 speshalized and they are great. Good on the bike and still comfy after three hours of dancy badly at the underworld.

They ARE comfortable...
I just got q.wide feet, and after a while I do tend to lose some feeling.
oh, and Cheers Murts. -

also, don't do them up too tight. you should have some movement in there.

oh, and Cheers Murts.I've got, what we refer to in the westcountry as 'pastie feet' (ie, wide). I've just bought some Northwaves, and can honestly say they have increased my enjoyment of cycling. They fit so well!

For anyone else had their Sidi's for more than 5 minutes:
The velco on mine is starting to go and I'm getting the straps coming up mid ride which is pretty irratating... I don't think these are replaceable are they?
Anyone had any experience of this?
Thanks
I think mine are the 06 Dominators

take em to a cobbler, its probably the loop side of the velcro which is dead, they should be able to un-stitch the old stuff and replace it.
Also I've heard of someone getting dominators re-soled at a cobblers using a srs (sole replacement system). So not as easy as dragons to fix but not impossible. -

i think muttley had his resoled and they didn't last 5 minutes.
Sidi's are the bomb. Fit like a glove and looks much better than the crud NW and Shimano come out with.
