Does anyone else find that if you look at the back wheel, it seems like the tire is almost bulging into the seat tube? That's fucking my eyes up....
-
• #6
^ yes! just thinking the same.
-
• #7
oh gawd ...another one of the dust cap brigade, not to mention that seat tube, one might need a step stool to get on a saddle on there...
Drops? Did you mean eye drops?

• #8
Get some pursuit bars they look best on lo pros IMO
-
• #9
nah the saddles not that high, very low cross bar.

• #10
p.s, what's wrong with the dust caps? should i get different ones? maybe dice?
-
• #11
go back to base one, sell the wheels....buy some that work with it 700/650 nonmachined/machined....sell the forks and buy some 650 forks (not that hard to find if you look well) and you're half way there then

IMHO:
Coz the frame has a strong paint scheme, keep the rest simple as possible.
I.e. go with all one colour for the rest of the setup. Change the wheels for an all Silver set with no decals or stickers. Go for silver bars (risers would work fine) with black grips and a black saddle. It looks wrong coz the wheels at the mo. are too 'busy'.

and in case this is just a joke, Yes. Dice dust caps FTW! :)

cheers donut,
It's not a joke, although i get why it would seem as if it were. It's an odd request for people to slate my bike but i thought it'd get some ideas, and it is.

im with donut.

What size is it?
I'm with Donut and LPG here- lose the visual clutter from the other components.

everything silver, white bar tape, white saddle.
650 forks, get them, cut them down, not a biggie.
ride, enjoy.
Alt. sell it on and buy a bike that you're more comfy on! -

IMO : silver or white rims, black tyres, silver bullhorn or risers (I think bullhorn is better). Black or withe saddle -concor corsa maybe- , black or white grips or tape - I prefer white. I think the stem is a bit to high. Like this frame

I'd like to see the low primate that had it orginally, he's possibly wanted by Darwin etc as the missing link between man & ape with arms that length of drop
Wheels look like Kysiriums, or derivative, ie a box rim, where aero rims would look far better, my Diavolo lenticular disc for £250 would help, but its a tub version..

is it bad taste of me to say I dig this cougar ? it's tasty as IMO

Seriously.
I love my frame, the cranks and pedals. I'm even a fan of my chain, it's strong and shiny.
BUT, the wheels aren't right. The front's too big and the back's machined.
Not that much of a big deal IMO. If you can afford a new rim, buy that and have the wheel rebuilt, otherwise don't.
The fork's a shitter to change because i can't find a 650c 1" fork with the right length [very short] steerer.
Buy some 650 forks and cut down the steerer.
I don't know what bars to go for, drops? Risers? horns? All have their benefits but will drops be too low? Will horns look too gay? It'll stay brakeless and i don't need it for commuting, just riding for fun.
From the picture I would say drops will be too low. Grab some risers/ bullhorns/ flats from another bike, ride it and see how it feels.

Ergostem and bullhorns FTW

I think you put the wheels on back to front, either that or the frame...
