Had a few hairy moments on my way home. Sometimes I can unclip just fine but other times it's just plain scary! I think it's tougher to unclip at certain points of the crank rotation too (can't remember which) but I guess it's just down to practice. I also feel as though I've really got to commit to unclipping. Trying to unclip half-heartedly just brings on the fear!
@ eightball - I've got Aliums. As far as I'm aware you can't adjust them. Think you can only do that with the XS model. How far forward on your shoe have you installed the cleats?
