I have a 53cm surly steamroller for sale Rory. It measures 54.4 c-c along the top tube. BB and crank set included. It's the 07 model, in a nice gloss black. Completely De-stickered. Chainring is sugio mighty 42t, cranks arms are stronglight 170mm powdercoated hipster white!
Not really a beater as such, but a solid frame and not flashy in the slightest. No dents, a few minor scratches. I'm looking for £180 all in. And I can drop it off in manchester asap.

jeez... you didnt keep that for long did you???
-
• #442
Ha! Craig, for me that was long. I've just got the same frame in a 56cm, it was hurting my back a little, otherwise I would of kept it. I fucking love my steamroller.
Hopefully it will continue to roll on the streets of manchester if rory takes it :)

that kona is ace, a guy brought one in the shop the other day, all kitted out as a tourer, its awesome.
I've been using these brakes http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/product-Tektro-Tektro-R556-Dual-Pivot-Caliper-Brake-55-73-mm-Very-Deep-Drop-Nut-Fitting--Front-and-Rear-79.htm for a year or so.
Not very pretty, but cheap and do the job. Nut fitting as well, so you don't have to faff about drilling forks or putting back brakes on the front, etc.
@ Dangeruss - It was dirt, not rust :-) Both rims are alloy, rear's a Rigida AS23X. Front's just labeled 'Rigida group'. Could give them a wipe and take a pic if you're interested. Must warn you - they're not fully mine, so will have to check if it's cool to pass them on if you do decide you want them. Let me know.
